 Recognized SIRO by DSIR, Ministry of Science & Technology, G.O.I.
 Voluntary Centre of ICAR in a research project, AINP on Soil arthropods.
 Voluntary Organization of IARI for Technology Demonstration of Seeds.
 Authorized RC, Ministry of Agriculture for Organic Certification under PGS.
 Having quality testing / research laboratory and training facilities at Ghaziabad.
 Successfully implemented 3 projects funded by DBT & DST and implementing 2 ongoing projects funded by ICAR & DST, alone and in collaboration of IARI, NII.
 Having technical support of SAC – panel of experts of national repute from central / state scientific & other organizations.

FARMER – OVERVIEW

FARMER commenced its operation with the following Mission and Vision to perpetuate its philosophy of improvement in rural prosperity utilising available appropriate technology and techniques that sustain stability of productivity of agricultural commodities. Over a decade’s steadfast pursuit with various Science and Technology departments of Government of India, the Foundation fortified its laboratory and outreach capabilities for resolving issues in farming.

Today, FARMER has well-equipped laboratory and production facilities to cater to the needs of farmers for their needs of all sorts of biofertilisers and biological pesticides. The noteworthy and significant contribution of FARMER to suppress white grub soil pest in sugarcane and other crops. This flagship programme by deploying strains of Entomo-pathogenic Nematodes (EPN) for the biological control of white grubs in soil. Its collaborative mind set to access technology from leading research institutions provided opportunity establish Memoranda of Understanding with several R & D institutions in the country. Bridging those institutions with Farms has been the satisfying endeavour that has endeared the Foundation with professional scientists and farmers alike.
