
Arindam Mookherjee (Advisor, Research & Sustainability)
With schooling from La Martiniere Kolkata, Arindam Mookherjee graduated in economics from Shriram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi and went on to complete his master’s in economics from the Delhi School of Economics. Arindam Mookherjee has widespread expertise in working with associations, advisory firms, and corporate entities with working experience of over 23 years. He has worked as an executive with India’s largest trade association – the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), advisory firms including Corporate Economic Research Group (CERG) and Maneco Advisory, and corporate entities – Bharat Gears, BCC Fuba, Nexus Group and Punj Lloyd. At present, as a consultant he is heading the Society of Actuaries (SOA) in India. He has also done a short-term stint with the Word Bank and co-authored one of the earliest papers on investment climate in India. During his corporate consulting career, he has had the privilege to be associated with leading Indian business groups like Tata, BILT, Crompton Greaves, Rajasthan Spinning & Weaving, IDFC, BILT, Sona Koyo, Alok Industries and AIS and done overseas assignments in Belgium and Germany. He has also undertaken work for several start-ups in India providing them strategic inputs and valuation exercises for securing PE investments. He had worked on a paper and developed a mechanism for corporate social management, which had a copyright. Through different activities, he continues to promote CSR and social entrepreneurship, which is integrated into mainstream financial models.
